On-the-Farm LAMBING Workshop – February 8th

Learn all about lambing and enjoy a lamb chili lunch at Cabin Hollow Farm in Pulaski County Kentucky.

The event will be held Saturday, February 8th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EST) (Weather Permitting, Check – Facebook for updates).

This lambing workshop is sponsored by Southeast Kentucky Sheep Producers Association and The Pulaski County Extension Office. This is a hands-on instructional workshop designed for both beginner and expert sheep farmers who wish to improve their lambing knowledge and skill.

Participants will learn how to prepare for lambing, what to do during and after the lambing process, how to deal with problems with newborns and orphans, an dhow to care for the ewe and baby lambs.

Cabin Hollow Farms is located at 439 Old Cabin Hollow Road, Somerset (Pulaski County) Kentucky, 42501

Registration is required. Please register by calling or texting Patrick Angle at (606) 312-5264. Participation is limited to the first 18 people who call or text.

Registration is $10 per family which includes your SEKSPA membership for 2025. This even its FREE for SEKSPA members in good standing. Registration includes a delicious LAMB CHILI LUNCH!
